Brookhuis Micro-Electronics B.V. of Enschede (the Netherlands) is an innovative, leading manufacturer of precise wood and construction moisture meters. The range of instruments produced by Brookhuis Micro-Electronics includes moisture meters that operate according to the resistance method (types FMC, FMD, FME and MCM) and moisture meters that operate according to the capacitative method (FMW and FMI). All these instruments meet the high industrial demands placed on reliable, precise instruments.

The most important features of the Brookhuis Micro&--8209;Electronics moisture meters are:
  1. Reproducible measurement results thanks to the use of special measurement electronics (hybrid sensor).
  2. Calibration lines for wood and construction materials, fine-tuned to the specific qualities of the materials to be measured (software) and the possibility of expanding and improving the calibration lines (update).
  3. Easy operation (intelligent design).

Thanks to these distinctive features, Brookhuis moisture meters are known and used around the world in the wood and construction industry.

Through close co-operation with wood and construction institutes in the Netherlands and abroad, we have gained extensive knowledge and experience of measuring moisture content. That&--39;s one reason Brookhuis Micro-Electronics has such a large number of calibration lines available for wood and construction materials.

Calibration lines - Reference values

The reference values determine the course of the calibration lines programmed in the moisture meters. These reference values originate from scientific research conducted by Brookhuis Micro-Electronics and the following institutions:

  1. Building Technology (VTT) - Finland
  2. Bundesforschungsanstalt für Forst- und Holzwirtschaft (BFH) - Germany
  3. Danish Technological Insitute (DTI) - Denmark
  4. Forest Research Institute Malaysia (FRIM) - Malaysia
